The ferry's not working at the moment.
Gas works at the bottom of Francis st.
Gas works in Charlton church lane.
The new shops will be heaving.
Lots of Pompey fans.

Give yourself a bit of extra time to get there.

I’m at Wimbledon station at the moment. The town Christmas street fair has closed the high street and the trains are rail-replacement going south except, thankfully, for the ones going to Norbiton - had this been the Valley they’d probably have closed charlton station if it was a match day
  • Ferry is now back up and running.

  • To cap it all no bridge at the level crossing.

“The footbridge at Charlton Lane has been taken away for major refurbishment and re-painting. We aim to get it back in position before Spring 2018 and in the meantime if people could use the level crossing we would appreciate their patience and understanding.”

  • People on foot couldn't even use the level crossing after the Peterborough game as the gates had failed.
