Congratulation to Grant Basey

Grant Basey earned his first Wales U21 cap - more than three years after first being called up to the national squad - when he featured for his country on Friday night.The Addicks left-back was in the starting line-up as Brian Flynn's side drew 0-0 with Luxembourg in the 2011 European Championship qualifier at the Stade du Complexe Sportif Deich, in Ettelbruck.Basey was withdrawn after 69 minutes as Wales sought a winning goal against the European minnows, but the visitors were unable to make their dominance count against the stubborn home side.

    Tried to find commentary on Radio Luxembourg but no luck: the Pete Murray Top Ten Platters Show was on though!
